The communal kitchen and dining area had a stunning view over the bay. We had a wonderful time socializing with other guests and the hosts, including a memorable barbecue evening. Our family of four loved the spacious family room with a breathtaking view. The guesthouse was clean, well-organized, and had lots of helpful information about Shimoda. We highly recommend staying here and already miss this place.

The rooms at Guesthouse All You Need were fantastic! I loved how each room had a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. It made me feel comfortable and at home during my stay. Plus, some rooms even had a sea view, which was absolutely breathtaking. The bed linen provided was also a nice touch.

Personally, I didn't really enjoy the slippers provided in the room. They didn't fit me properly and weren't very comfortable.

Everything was amazing! The property felt like a home away from home. It was super tidy and had a fantastic ocean view from both the common room and the bed. The owners were very attentive and accommodating, making our stay extra special. We loved that we could rent out snorkel gear, bicycles , and even SUP boards for an additional fee. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even coffee available for free. And let's not forget about the magical BBQ deck with its breathtaking view of the sea and the stars above. We would definitely come back!

From the moment Yuuki and his wife picked us up at the train station, they were the perfect hosts. They were friendly, personable, and knowledgeable, always available to help. The guesthouse had everything we needed, from surfboards, SUPs, and bikes, to a stocked kitchen. The place was immaculate, and they had thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable.

The location of this guesthouse is excellent, being close to both the ocean and the town. You can easily access nearby restaurants and beaches, making it very convenient. Moreover, the view from the rooms is magnificent, offering a breathtaking sight of an emerald Pacific Ocean bay. Additionally, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and compact bathrooms. The shared kitchen and dining space are equipped with everything you need, and the owners provide excellent hospitality, offering advice and even free bike rentals.

Some guests did not clean up after themselves in the shared kitchen and dining area, which could be improved.

I couldn't believe the stunning view from the dining room at Guesthouse All You Need. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and take in the scenery. The proximity to the sea and Perry Road made it easy to explore the area. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the blinds letting in too much light in the morning and the challenge of the steep driveway, our stay was overall enjoyable.
